Thanks to Morley Dore for photographing the action at the turn around, and thanks to the other volunteers who helped to run this event.
Twelve women came out to ride this first WTT event of 2016. The weather was a little cool, but the sunshine helped and the wind made the return leg quite fun. Two riders, Stephanie Sothcott (2nd overall with 17:55) and Claire Menzel (18:25 for 6th place) managed to improve upon their previous 10km database best. This was despite the facts that Stephanie was riding "a la Merckx" and that Claire had to wait for a considerable number of motor vehicles at the turnaround.
Thanks to our Helpers: Jean Cooper, John Cooper, Morley Dore, Jim Glover, Dave Hinz, Celia McInnis, Peter Tregunno, Barbara Wilson, Don Wilson.
